INNER LANDSCAPES & RECOLLECTIONS (video 2026)

Inner Landscapes & Recollections brings together many of the recurring concerns that have informed my practice for more than two decades: memory, architecture, perception, found technologies and the dialogue between still image, moving image and sound. Across photography, photobooks, moving image and sound, the works form an interconnected archive in which memory, architecture and duration are continuously revisited through different media.The film is a moving-image work emerging from photographic thinking. It explores water as a reflective and mnemonic surface where urban space, personal memory and cultural traces overlap. Images emerge and disappear like recollections, while sound functions less as illustration than as a trigger of associative memory. Inner Landscapes & Recollections does not represent memory as stored information or recollected events. Instead, it allows memory to emerge as an embodied experience of duration, orientation and perception. Water, sound, obsolete technologies and urban spaces become living surfaces upon which remembrance continuously forms, dissolves and reappears.
